Christoph Debbing

Christoph Debbing advises on issues relating to energy industry law and energy contract law. He also advises clients in the field of European state aid law.

Christoph Debbing studied law at the University of Mannheim and the University of Oslo for a year abroad. His studies focused on German and European antitrust law. He completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf, which comprised stages at Statkraft, the Directorate-General for Energy at the European Commission and Hogan Lovells, among others. Christoph Debbing has worked as a research assistant in the energy department at Clifford Chance. He has been admitted to the bar since 2025.
